Today at Apple
Free sessions at Apple Stores on using iPhone, iPad and Mac. Sign up at apple.com/today or in the Apple Store app. Not available everywhere.
Free lessons at home
LearnFree.org (formerly GCFGlobal) and DigitalLearn.org, from the Public Library Association, have free step-by-step lessons, and this site's how-tos walk you through common tasks.
Avoid fake tech support
โ ๏ธ Careful: Real help never starts with a pop-up, call or text saying your device has a problem, and never asks for remote access, gift cards or your bank details. Real free programs never ask for your card or bank details to give you something free, never pressure you with a countdown, and never come from a random text, pop-up or caller. Go to the official website yourself instead of tapping a link.
Compare at a glance
| Where | How | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Your public library | In person | One-on-one help |
| Senior Planet from AARP | Online and by phone | Older adults, all skill levels |
| Today at Apple | In Apple Stores | iPhone, iPad, Mac |
| LearnFree.org, DigitalLearn.org | Online, any time | Learning at your own pace |
The real addresses are seniorplanet.org, apple.com/today. Type it yourself or use the buttons above. Fake sites use names like senior-tech-support-help.com (examples only, do not visit). A real free program never asks for your card or bank details to โunlockโ it.
Why we trust this: Class details come from Senior Planet's, Apple's, LearnFree's and DigitalLearn's own sites, checked October 2026.
